The Grafted Project

The "Grafted Project" is a photo-documentary project that captures existing outdoor wall graffiti and the transformation that has occured when each section of wall receives multiple layers of graffiti by different "artists". This transformation or evolution reveals in new and heightened ways the disrespect graffiti "artists" bestowed not just on public and private property but also the dishonor and disrespect of fellow graffiti artists as well. Accidentally and ironically, the layered evolving works reach a much higher level of artistry.
